Otolift Stairlifts

Otolift has over 135 years of experience in lifting solutions and has sold more than 200,000 stairlifts worldwide. Their Modul-Air Smart is one of the most compact and innovative stairlifts on the market, using the thinnest single rail available to make it suitable for even the narrowest staircases.

Otolift Modul-Air Smart

The Otolift Modul-Air Smart is suitable for almost all types of staircase, whether straight, curved, spiral or multi-level. Its modular rail system means it can be tailored precisely to your staircase without lengthy lead times. The thinnest single rail in the world sits low on the staircase and, in most cases, allows your existing handrail to remain in place, keeping the stairs safely usable by everyone in the house.

The seat, armrests and footrest all fold away easily, leaving plenty of space for other stair users. The Modul-Air Smart is battery-powered, so it continues to work during a power cut. A built-in safety system stops the lift automatically if it detects an obstacle. For very narrow staircases, optional Reverse Drive Technology moves the chair partially backwards so your knees never contact the wall.
