Handicare Stairlifts

Handicare has been providing lifting solutions since 1886 and has one of the largest ranges of stairlifts. They manufacture straight and curved versions, including a single rail and a twin curved stairlift. Practical additional options include the footplate finishing equal to the top or bottom of the stairs, and a range of solutions for moving the track clear of obstacles such as doorways when in parked position.

Handicare 1100 Straight

The Handicare 1100 is ultra slim and compact, with a grease free straight rail. As the slimmest straight stairlift rail on the market, it can be placed close to the wall, leaving plenty of free space for other stair users. The seat, footrest and armrests can be folded when not in use. The seat will swivel at the top landing, making sure you can get on and off easily and safely. It comes with safety sensors as standard to stop the lift in case of obstruction.

Customizable options for this stairlift include Zero Intrusion where the footplate will finish equal to the top or bottom of the stairs. Slide Track, where the track is automatically moved clear of any obstacles while the stairlift moves into park position. This is ideal for hallways where access is required through a doorway close to the staircase, either at the top or bottom of the stairs. Easy Hinge, allows the track to be manually folded away from the doorway to give clear access.

Handicare Freecurve

The Handicare Freecurve stairlift is tailor made for your staircase and can be customised to suit your individual needs. Many homes have staircases that go around at least one bend or corner and the turns can be tight or the curved stairs narrow. The Freecurve has powered and automatic options to suite your exact needs. With a powered hinged rail option where the track can be folded away from a doorway giving clear access.

The unique, single rail design is not only slim and unobtrusive on your stairs, but you can also choose from a selection of colours to match your home and décor. The seat comes in a wide variety of styles and choices. You can choose from the Classic, Elegance or Alliance seats to further customise your lift in terms of how it looks.

Handicare 4000

The curved dual rail Handicare 4000 stairlift is designed to take you from the ground floor directly onto the landing level. This system copes with the tightest bends on the market from any stairlift manufacturer, making it an ideal choice for compact stairs and hallways. Its twin tube construction delivers strength and stability whilst navigating tight bends. An automatic hinge solution prevents the track obscuring a doorway at the base of the stairs.

The double rail system is designed for a stable and smooth ride. It is supplied in light grey, brown or gun metal as standard. For special orders, the track can be finished in any colour to suit your décor. This twin rail stairlift system can be supplied with a choice of three seats: the Style, the Smart and the Simplicity.
